Why we believe the next decade's most durable software companies will be built by the people closest to the audience — not by the people closest to the VCs.

There is a pattern we have been watching for two years. The most interesting software products being shipped today are not coming from the traditional venture pipeline. They are coming from operators with audiences — creators, niche industry experts, technical YouTubers, community builders — who have realized that the cost of building software has fallen far enough that they can ship the product themselves.
What they typically lack is not the idea or the audience. It is the operating layer underneath: senior engineering, infrastructure, finance, hiring. Without that layer, the product hits a ceiling and the team burns out trying to do twelve jobs at once.
HILIVAY SOFTWARE exists to be that layer. We partner with the founder. We take meaningful equity. Our teams bring in the engineers, the product leadership, the platform tooling — everything required to take the prototype to scale. The founder keeps doing the work that only they can do: shaping the vision, owning the audience, deciding what gets shipped.
This is not a venture model. It is an operating model. The capital is patient because it is ours. The team is permanent because they are employees of the holding. The horizon is decades because we have no LP to return capital to.
If you are a founder building something inside this pattern, we would like to hear from you.
